I have long realized that being grateful for the good things in life is beyond important and focusing on happy makes you feel happy.
My weeks are full of beautiful moments yet sometimes I get caught up looking at life negatively and having a good (bad) old whinge. It never really seems to help instead just brings me down.
I endeavor from now on to focus more on the beautiful moments of my weeks and share 10 of beautiful moments from each week here at A Beautiful Space, after all it is a place to showcase the beautiful things in life.
Over the past few months Karin Joyce has been spreading her embrace happy message across social media and it has swept me up in its message of really seeing and celebrating the good in every day. This is my way of embracing happy in a focused way. In the past I have encouraged my children to make gratitude journals but I have not been great in documenting my happy stuff for myself.
Snapping away at simple images from my everyday on Instagram has helped me realise it is the smaller stuff that shapes my world and brings me joy. I intend once a week to record my beautiful moments and look afresh and ponder on what has made me smile and capture those memories and celebrate them.
