I wrote last week about Spring Fair the UK’s number one gift and home trade event and I told you all about the new DIY sector they will be featuring.
This week I want to show you some of the gorgeous homeware that will feature and give you a little peek at what 2017 has to offer interior lovers. This year Spring Fair will feature the largest Home section in its 67-year history.
The purpose of Spring Fair is to enable independent retailers, buyers for larger stores, garden centres and online retailers to find the home and lifestyle products they woudl like to stock. A complete treasure trove of goodies for an interiors lover.
I would be like a kid in a candy store.
2,500 exhibitors will be showcasing their wares at Birmingham’s NEC from 5-9 February 2017 and their will be a strong international presence, particularly from Scandinavia. Ah the Scandi look remains ever in vogue.
Scandinavian design is all about simplicity, utility, and beauty, I adore its emphasis on simple, comfortable, cosy living. It will heavily feature in the homewares presented by such brands as
and Kreafunk at the show
(I am SO In love with that light!)
The Scandinavian concept of Hygge is an increasingly popular trend in the UK and it is all about cosy is contentment in the home. These brands so this so well and their homewares certainly bring me a feeling of well-being. Aren’t they just gorgeous? And this is just a teeny tiny slice of what will be on offer.
2017 is going to be a very good year for all things home.
Nick Davison, Portfolio Director at Spring Fair, added: “
Home furnishings and décor continues to grow as consumers want to refresh their homes, representing a strong category for retailers.
“With consumers increasingly demanding newer, more stylish and higher quality products, Spring Fair provides the UK’s most comprehensive array of home products, that covers everything from value to high-end price points, from traditional to the latest trending home trends. No matter what type of retailer you are, large or small, there will be ranges at Spring Fair to help you increase sales in this area.”
