A nation of bee lovers

In a poll of Britian’s favourite insects last year bumblebees were voted the number one choice and they do indeed need championing.

“When lots of people think of conservation they think of pandas and the large species that need our help, but there are lots of people who do understand how important insects are for our lives. Many crops and wild flowers alike depend on bumblebees for pollination. They contribute to our economy, our countryside and the food we eat,”

So how can we help bees? here are 4 very simple suggestions….

  •    Stop using insecticides
  •   Plant Bee-friendly plants Cornflowers, asters, calendulas, marigolds
  •  Create natural habitat gardens
  •   Support your local beekeepers

So if you too want to celebrate bees and win these lovely kitchen accessories simply enter the rafflecopter below
