today – A beautiful round mirror

I do love to let as much light as possible into my rather dark home. To this end I have all my walls painted white so the light can bounce around.  I keep my windows net free and blinds wide open. I keep my windows sparkly clean too. But oh it is still rather dark.

I have been longing for a large window to reach back all the natural light into my lounge and open up the space.

Picking a mirror is tricky though!

I knew I wanted something plain and uncluttered as my home is rather small and cluttered enough with two children and a rather large passion for books and art.

I also have a lot of straight lines in my house and really wanted something round, large and simple. The Georgina round mirror from Exclusive Mirrors is perfect and I was completed delighted to be sent it to review.

The space above our fireplace has been looking so bare since we took an old ugly and very ornate mirror that just did not compliment the room. I was so excited to get the Georgina in place.

It has a thin, metal frame in aged bronze. It measures a whopping 84 cm across and it costs £132.

I find it really does increase the sense of light and space in this little room without being overpowering. I love it’s simple and elegant design.
