First up we have this gorgeous unicorn tape dispenser (£9.99) from the ever fabulous Prezzybox ( one of my absolute favourite gift shops) Isn’t he a cutie with his rainbow colours. He can be refilled and used again and again and is a great addition to a tweens desk. Two rolls of tape are included which are easily dispensed and cut so this is handy as well as super cute.  Unicorns are a firm favourite in our house! Lovey to encourage creativity.

Smiggle Spy Pen- Smiggle is the shop tweens just adore and for good reason. Smiggle is full of glittery, colourful, fun stationery and so much more besides. Pretty much anything from this shop will delight a tween!  For stocking stuffers, it is simply perfect! These Spy Pens are just £4 and they are such a giggle. They are part pen and part invisible marker and they have a little torch on the end which reveals the invisible writing. Perfect for budding spies.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls is an awesome read. It contains 100 stories of fabulous women who are just the best role models for tween girls and boys alike. From Rosa Parks to Malala there are scientist and artists, sports stars and activists. These are true stories of resilience and perseverance and downright bravery. So inspiring. I would highly recommend this. My tween has read it cover to cover and back again.

Baebox – Baebox is a monthly subscription box for tweens that we have been receiving for the last year. It is just fab, full of positive affirmations, cool treats for tweens ( there is a boy and girl version). You can find stationery, trinkets, yoyos and oh so much more in a Baebox and it really is a gift that can last so much longer than Christmas! Prices vary depending on the subscription you take ( you can also buy a one-off box.)

Bad Dad – David Walliams books are always funny and always such a hit with both my kids. Fantastic. They are a delight to read aloud too. Bad Dad is his latest book and currently just £5 on Amazon. I bet this is included in many a tween wish list. My daughter has read it and says, ‘It’s really funny about a boy named Frank and his dad and their adventure with some villains.’ Sounds good to me! Even reluctant readers will devour Walliams books.

Lego women of Nasa (£44.99) -this fabulous new best selling Lego set celebrates the women of Nasa and it really is inspiring. It includes 4 minifigures: Nancy Grace Roman, Margaret Hamilton, Sally Ride and Mae Jemison.and features 3 LEGO® builds illustrating the areas of expertise of the 4 featured women of NASA. Awesome.

Notebook – A personalised Notebook is a truly lovely gift and I am delighted to have made one for my daughter to encourage her writing. Personalised Gift Shop does some beautiful notebooks as well as a host of other gorgeous personalised items. This one is a wooden cover notebook  and you can customise it to suit (£9)

Hair colours – a rebel tween loves a splash of hair colour! These great Hair lights (£9.99)  from Prezzybox are so easy to wash out with shampoo and come in six vibrant colours too. Loads of fun and perfect for all hair types

The Rocket wireless singing machine (£24.99) – This brilliant Bluetooth wireless microphone is also a speaker. You don’t need an app to work it and it is compatible with windows, ios and android. It is really easy to use and basically it can play music from any online streaming service and a tween can just sing along It has voice enhancing echo and it even includes a headphone jack. We have all had so much fun with this. I love that it is wireless you really can take it anywhere. Endless entertainment an powered by just batteries

A watch! – A watch is a fab present that avoids tweens ( who have one) constantly checking their phones. Love this Smiggle watch (£15) that comes in an array of colour combos. The time appears when you tap on the face and also includes date and seconds display.  It’s very funky and very practical too.
