Health benefits of an apple carrot smoothie
Apples are a good source of fibre and vitamin C. They also contain antioxidants, like vitamin E, and polyphenols that make them super goof for you (source) carrots also have a huge amount of health benefits especically linked to lower cholesterol and better eye health.
It makes s total sense to pair these too up and give yourself a health boost.
Ingredients for apple carrot smoothie
- x1 bag of carrots
- x1 pack of apples
- x1 pack of oranges
- x1 bag of Party Ice
- x1 cup of water
Total price approx. for 5-days’ worth: £3.50 (70p per smoothie)
Method for apple carrot smoothie
- Peel and chop x5 carrots. Repeat for the apples and oranges.
- Place a portion of each into a Tupperware tub and freeze until ready to blend.
- When ready, place into a blender with a cup of water and x1 handful of Party Ice.
- Blend, pour and serve!
