Beautiful Things by Sarah Anguish

Sarah Anguish aka Boo) from Boo, Roo and Tigger Too is passionate about all things polka dot, chocolate and chick flicks. In her own words she is stumbling through life and motherhood hoping that Roo and Tigger make it out ‘fairly’ normal.

I love how ‘family centred’ she is and how much fun their life together seems and I am delighted she is here sharing her ‘beautiful things.’

Over to Sarah….

The most beautiful day I ever had…

My wedding day – a bittersweet day which I remember with both fondness and sadness.  At just 21 years old, there were many who thought we wouldn’t last, and those who didn’t want us to last but we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary recently hopefully proving all those people wrong.

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen…

My children, from the moment I first saw them I was in awe of how beautiful they were.  With each passing day they find some way to remind me just how much I love them and why I’m so lucky that they call me Mummy.

The most beautiful thing I have ever owned…

Is it really wrong of me to say my GHD hair straighteners?? Honestly they have changed my life, from a girl with curly hair who wouldn’t dare wear it down (think of Monica from Friends – The One in Barbados) to a woman who happily straightens her hair with ease and comfort knowing that it will stay straight.

The most beautiful song I have ever heard…

Bette Midler, wind beneath my wings

The amazingly talented Bette Midler has the ability to make me well up and cry everytime I hear this song.  The words are so very powerful and make me think of different situations within my life.

The most beautiful person I know is…

My husband, I know that this probably sounds cheesy but he is the one person in this world who knows me inside out.  He knows what my day has been like from the look on my face. He knows that I’m grumpy when I’m tired. He knows that I always check out the dessert menu first in a restaurant before I decide what I’m having for my main. He knows all my quirks, my irritations and my passions yet still loves me despite knowing all about me.

The most beautiful thing about me is…

I’m not someone who find it easy to blow their own trumpet so this is a difficult question for me to answer.  I’d like to think that my most beautiful quality is my ability to help others, it can be my downfall too but I’d like to think that I’m always there for others to rely upon.

Thank you Sarah Anguish for sharing your beautiful things ….that song reminds me of my mum and I LOVE it too!

What a lovely post. I didn’t know Sarah loved her GHDs so much, haha. I’ve never used straighteners but I can see how people call them a lifesaver.

And for the last point. I think Sarah is caring, helpful and always up for a laugh, a lovely, lovely woman x
