Today – beautiful artisan lighting
As I have mentioned before when looking at design trends for 2017, artisan products are having a very well deserved return to favour. I have always admired the excellent craftsmanship that goes into furniture and increasingly I have become aware of the gorgeous glass ware that skilled artisans create.
I was so delighted to be asked to do a SogniDiCristallo review
Sogni Di Cristallo
Sogni Di Cristallo is an online platform for the glass artisans of Venice, showcasing and selling their beautiful Murano glass. By cutting out the middle man you can buy this glass at the best price and really it absolutely stunning.
They make chandelier, glass ware, mirrors and lighting and products can be purchased as they are or individualised items can be commissioned. It has the honour of now being thought of as one most important Venetian
craftsmanship companies and has sold over 10,00 pieces in over 50 countries.
I am so excited to show you some of my favourite pieces as well as accompanying videos showing how these exquisite pieces of glass are made.
This Madame Butterfly Venetian mirror is probably the prettiest mirror I have ever seen . It is crafted by master glassmakers using the authentic Murano glass technique. The curls, flowers, and leaves are all handcrafted and
the decorations are in 24K gold leaf.
Isn’t it just dreamy?
Look at this beautiful light Iris:

The most beautiful artisan lighting
Isn’t that just wonderful – a truly traditional art form.
It’s so beautiful isn’t it? All lacy and vintage I think it would just add so much glamour to a home, it is timeless.
I also rather love this Crono light – also from the vintage collection but could totally work in a modern minimalist home too.
Have a look how this gorgeous light is made.
and okay probably not one you would ever have in your home but just look at these lights commissioned from Sogni Di Cristallo for a beautiful hotel in Casablanca.
I think you will agree the lights are totally spectacular.
I am so very pleased an appreciation for the artisan has revived.
