Gas prices are high, bills are overdue, and your six year relationship is now over, what do you do? Many people lose sight of where the true essence of life lies. Some may question a few of my suggestions, but they have always turned my frown upside down. I warn you, there may be a few suggestions that will challenge your beliefs and how you approach situations in life.
Find Your Spiritual Presence
You do not necessarily have to pick a certain religion, but there is certainly power in prayer. If you find a genuine faith in God, you may start to realize and be blessed. Blessings do not always come automatically. They do not always come in the form of money and materials as many expect either. Blessings are resulted in miracles, strength and understanding.
Meditation May Or May Not Be Associated With Your Spiritual Presence
The purpose of meditation is to provide you with a cleansing of the mind, body, and soul. With deep concentration and breathing, many of your worries are lifted, thus allowing you to reenergize yourself. Meditating can alleviate concerns, anxiety, and stress; permitting all positive energy to come your way.
Do A Good Deed
This may seem backwards to many of you but there is joy in helping others. Happiness does not have to mean it is all about you. Taking the time to realize that your life’s concerns may be not be as bad as a Hurricane Katrina victim, a woman on life support, or a child without a home; makes you aware of your own shortcomings. There is a saying those who give; get given to, and those who take; get taken from.
Find A Hobby
By getting involved into an area of your interest, you will be able to take a break from many of life’s troubles. It is important to make time for yourself, after all you are human. You may enjoy dancing, writing, or vacationing; what ever you decide to do just make certain it is something you like.
Life often throws us into the whirlwind of daily routines and responsibilities, leaving little room for self-care and self-reflection. Affirmations act as a mental reset button, reminding us to take charge of our lives and steer them in the right direction.
By repeating positive statements, such as I am on the right track or I am becoming the best version of myself, you can break free from your comfort zone and make positive changes that lead to a life of joy.
Accept Who You Are
Do not validate your self worth by how others perceive you, or by what you have. Comparing yourself to others increases your worries and concerns. Even if you work at McDonalds, short in height, or missing a finger, your importance is not weighted based on material or physical aspects.
