Cook Share Eat Vegan Review
I was recently sent a selection of beautiful recipe books from The Book People to review.
I love a good vegetarian cookbook This one, Cook Share Eat Vegan – Delicious vegan recipes for everyone by Aine Carlin, was particularly lovely.
Cook Share Eat Vegan Review
I was excited about trying out some of the recipes. The book gives you a great introduction to what you should stock in a vegan pantry as well as a look at the basics such as roasting seeds and nuts and making plant milk.
Aine Carlin’s ingredients lists are easy to get hold of, don’t rely on meat substitutes and are straightforward.
Exactly the kind of cooking I like to do.
There are over 125 plant-based recipes to try out and they range from sweets to savouries to snacks. Just lovely. The photos are crystal clear and achingly tempting too
A delight of a book.
I made baked potato nachos with saucy black beans and avocado crema. It was a straightforward recipe and it turned out absolutely perfect and filled us for hours. A really hearty and tasty lunch time feast.
We will certainly eat this again it went down a storm.
The puddings in this book deserve a special mention..watermelon cake anybody? I cannot wait to try this – it has to be the healthiest cake around!
