English creamware pottery from Doris

Oh I have the most beautiful find!

Doris and Co is a British company devoted to making English creamware pottery and home wares using old fashioned methods traditional to England.

I am completely taken with just how beautiful their pottery is.

It’s totally gorgeous with shapes and designs that are based on Georgian or Early Industrial shapes, from the time that pottery and home wares were still made by hand.

Perfect for a vintage kitchen.

Let me show you the items I picked out as my favourite. The  Sweet pea mug and the Sugar plum mug are just absolutely delightful and perfect for little kids to drink their hot chocolate or bedtime milk in.

This would make such a cute idea for Christmas with some hot choc and marshmallows.

Doris aim to make

‘house wares of beauty and utility, to last many lifetimes.’

I absolutely adore the creamware  Old friends jug I reviewed, so beautiful and a lovely sentiment too. It  makes me smile…

There is something delightfully old fashioned and yet timeless about their products.  The sentiments written on them make you think and  are delightfully traditional and so very English.

Doris make dishes, trivets, jugs, vases and a variety of mugs and nipper cheeseboards. Do have a look at the full collection over at Doris

They gift wrap beautifully too.

A perfect, heartfelt gift.
