Fabulous floor tiles
I have pretty shoddy laminate in my kitchen and it is looking rather dated. I have been longing to change it for a while, but to be honest I have been waiting for inspiration to strike.
I was thinking maybe wooden flooring or perhaps a piece of vinyl. I hadn’t really considered tiles till I saw some at a friend’s house recently. They just looked so fresh and natural and hygienic and I thought wow…maybe this could be what I am looking for.
Flooring always gives me a sense of how a room would feel. It is nearly always in your viewpoint and can lead a room to it’s identity.
Looking at floor tiles really helps me imagine the character of a room.

The very subtle look of these grey floor tiles give a sleek and seamless look to the kitchen and it almost looks like stone. It goes well with an industrial theme and a simple though stylistic approach. This would be kitchen to drink cold white wine and lunch on crisp salad with rustic chilli and tomato bread.
These Forest tiles give a totally different feel to a kitchen don’t you think? I find them more warm, cheery and country cottage-y. I can imagine eating hot buttered toast and drinking a big mug of tea in this kitchen and there would probably be a cat curled up in the corner of the room.
And what about these very simple white kitchen floor tiles ?
Well they give you a completely blank canvas allowing you to add patterned tile or a very funky table cloth and accessories to a room. With white tiles I think your kitchen can really take on any identity it likes. In this room you could have anything from sushi to your cornflakes and it would feel right!
I think floor tiles are an excellent option. Which ones, however, is another dilemma.

A good way to be sure for your tiles to be strong and last longer are good adhesives.
Different tiles definitely add different vibes to a room, this is true! I love grey tile because of its clean, modern feel, plus they’re less likely to show mess than white floors. Great post!

This is just the information I needed to read about tiles! I am doing some remodeling in my house and need to choose a flooring. I have been having some trouble deciding and could use some inspiration. I love the grey tiles. They are beautiful! I will have to keep that in mind as an option!
The Only problem which I always face in tiles is grouting cleaning. I installed tiles and after a week the grout turn in to white due to dirt I guess and it’s still same till I fill up the grout again. Is there any way to make grout color same.
My parents house has tile. I agree that it looks great! I remember cleaning it when I was younger, it wasn’t too hard. Now I am getting ready to buy my own place, and I’ve been looking around for tile color inspiration.
