Flowers in the doorway

This week is all about flowers in the doorway …

I haven’t joined in Annie’s lovely How does your garden grow? linky for a while even though it is my favourite linky ever! Sadly my back garden is bare and the grass is patchy and apart from a few daffodils amidst straggly grass there is nothing to see here!

But to cheer ourselves up we have made our front door a real little haven of colour and I think it just shouts welcome, don’t you? Everyone loves flowers and they just encourage us all to smile.

I do love white flowers they always look so very clean and fresh

Flowers in the doorway
What is your favourite flower? I am a big fan pf petunias I love how they trail. Iris makes me think of my Grandad who I adored and big fat English roses that smell divine do make me think of my mum.

Have look here how to style zinc planters they look great at the front door  and have you ever considered making  flower buckets
these just look so pretty

The front of your home says hello and welcome and if it is tended and nurtured, stylish and beautiful you really do give off a lovely vibe to welcome in people visiting your home,

Have a lovely Easter everyone.

So much colour, and I love the hanging basket, I never can keep those things blooming

Gorgeous, and perfect sense to concentrate on the area you look at the most. Love the colour scheme in the second image.

Lovely and cheery! I bought a tub last week to make a pretty planter for the front door so I have some ideas now.

Yay good to have you joining in again Becky! Colour by the front door makes a huge difference doesn’t it? Going in and out of the house is usually either a bit boring or a bit stressful (school runs especially!) and splashes of colour bring a smile and lift the spirits 🙂
Thanks for joining in and have a lovely Easter x

It’s great to have some colour by the front door isn’t it to give you that little boost as you get home each time. Loving that cheery hanging basket! Have a lovely Easter #hdygg

I love these. I need to do something similar on our front door step too. I really like the white flowers in the second image. Beautiful.
