Mindset House Moving hacks
One hack I didn’t include there which I think is really important is mindset.
A moving house mindset needs to be one that looks forward to all the lovely times ahead in the new home. It needs to be a mindset that embraces placing all your lovely things into a brand new environment, one that relishes the opportunity to carve out a new space.
Having a looking forward mindset keeps you focussed on the fact that all the work and effort are worthwhile. It keeping your mind on the prize, rather than the stress, niggles and hard work and it will prove really motivating.
Positivity breeds positivity
Positivity breeds productivity after all!
If you find yourself fed up and flagging as you get sorted to move, then whip out the new house details, close you eyes and imagine how each room is going to look – see them filled with flowers and colour, music and those you love. Give yourself about 5 minutes to do this.
You will find you return to you packing tasks with far more motivation.
