Today – How Tiny Habits can lead to HUGE results
If you’re one of those who dare to dream big, don’t ever stop. Your circumstances may not be in your favor right now, and things may be looking dull at the moment, and you may not have your close ones supporting you and believing in you, but there’s one person who you can absolutely count on- your own self!
Those big goals that you have set for yourself may seem a bit daunting right now, but here’s how tiny little steps and habit changes can help you take things up a notch for you!
It’s a fresh new day and sometimes you just need to find a fresh new way to get you onto a better path. So let’s take a look at how small habits can lead to BIG CHANGES
How Tiny Habits can lead to HUGE results
Tiny habits can truly lead to huge results if they are the right tiny habits and if you practice them regularly. Let’s look at what we absolutely need to get right in order to get to where we want to be. After all the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Just by reading this article you are taking the first step onto your new path and it can lead wherever you want it to.
Estimate Right
Most of us tend to overestimate what we can accomplish in a day, and underestimate how little steps, taken every day in the right direction, can help us hit our goals. Set big goals, but remember that you’re human and don’t burden yourself with too many expectations. Multitasking and trying to get a lot done in a single day may work for you initially, but just within weeks, you’ll find yourself suffering burnout.
Create an action plan to hit your goal and break it down into sizeable chunks, spread across a decent time frame. You will find you are so much more productive and successful if you allow yourself adequate time rather than rushing to get things done and making mistakes by charging off down the wrong path or working ineffectually.
Self-care is critical to underpinning success
Build into your day to the time to eat well and the time to exercise and absolutely enough time to get a good night sleep. Getting these absolutely basic and essential health needs taken care of is not an interference with your goals or an inconvenience. looking after your basic and most primary wellbeing will absolutely help support and sustain you on your pathway to achieving your goals.
You need petrol in the tank before it can run. Nurture nurture nurture in order to grow.
“An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly.”

The Grand Finale
Talk to some highly successful people and you’ll find them all stressing on the importance of taking action- every single day, no matter how small it is. Take baby steps towards your goal and then build up. Connect with people who have the same goal or mentality as you, and grow with them, and during it, all, keep your eyes on the prize.
Also, remember to be flexible- you might be tempted to stick to one particular path to hit your goal, but that doesn’t always work in the right way. Experiment with different strategies and techniques and see what works best for you in terms of productivity and results.
The importance of goal focus
Whenever you do something in your day- whatever it is- always ask yourself this one question- is what I’m doing right now in line with my goals? Will it get me closer to it or farther away from it? Make changes to your lifestyle (meditate, practise mindfulness, sleep early etc) that help you work better towards achieving your set goals.
It may help for you to spend a few moments each morning, a cup of tea in hand and eyes closed visualising your goal so it really is crystal clear where you are headed. Some people may find it helpful to write their goal at the top of their daily to-do list. Some people may find a vision board above their desk keeps them fully focussed on their end goal.
‘we must not only aim right – we must draw our bow with all our might’
Why It works to establish good, positive tiny habits
Taking tiny steps right now may not seem like a lot, but it works- in ways, you can’t imagine. Firstly, it gets you started- even though the entry point is small, it gets you on track. Next, even if you’re taking tiny steps but are making sure you take them every day, you’re actually just motivating yourself- reminding yourself of what is truly important for you. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself automatically taking bigger steps towards your goals.
How small habits can lead to BIG CHANGES
There’s a popular thinking that’s making rounds- it claims that if you do something for 21 days in a row, you make it a habit, and if you do it for 90 days in a row, it becomes a lifestyle.
Make it a point to, every single day, take those little tiny steps towards your big goal. It is so worth giving this s a try. We get one shot at this life. There is a quote I love that says we are what we repeatedly do. So, starting from today let us begin to set that into motion and let our new better tiny habits propel us on to bigger and to better things.
