How to Strengthen Your Bond with Your Child? Listen Up
Do you listen well to your child?
This is where most parents often go wrong. Even if it is a super teeny issue at school, always be there for your child when he wants to talk to you about something. Make him feel understood. Listen without judgement or reactions. Just be there. The comfort and support of your presence will strengthen your relationship with him like nothing else.
Remember that when you listen to your little one, you’re actually making him feel valued and important, which will boost his confidence.
Be Respectful
One of the most important things a lot of parents forget when raising their children, that showing children respect and love is as important as expecting them to be disciplined and respectful. If you’re not treating your child right, you can’t expect him to, right? Always speak to your little one in a calm and loving manner, and be generous with the ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ There’s nothing better than mutual respect and understanding to strengthen a relationship and that is absolutely fundamental to learning how to strengthen your bond with your child
