I have 2 new interests this year and both of them make me extremely happy.
The first is pgotography. I bought myself a lovely camera in early summer and I have fallen in love with taking pictures. For health reasons I have had to slow down this year and photography works well with that. It also helps me see the beauty in the world and to live more externally at a time when I really need to
The second is instagram…oh how I love to capture the ordinary and everyday the small things that make our lives. Such a treat and a treasure. I have my instagram pictures printed up too so they are like our diary of our lives. I am extremely nosy so love using instagram to see what everyone else is up to too. You can probably see a couple of numbers in my instagram feed..well this is my new project. It is hard to keep track of when you post your instagram pictures so by inserting the date I should have a clear record. I thought I would make this as fun as possible and take photos of the date through items around me or by numbers I just happen to see. The number 4 above is made form Lavender seeds form our recent trip to Norfolk lavender and the number 5 is from my favorite old fashioned phone.
Its not easy finding a number for everyday but it is fun and it does make open my eyes. Both very good things to have in my life.

I love Instagram, but do not use it as much as I should – will definitely be my mission from now on 🙂 x

I totally love instagram – my recent iphone purchase makes me love it more than ever before – I had no idea just how much of the app I was missing out on on a windows mobile!
I love instagram and have just had a bunch of my favs printed too. I like the way they capture the instant moments, as opposed to the posed ones when I get my big camera out! Love the idea of creating and finding numbers!
Sharing photos on Instagram makes me want to take better photos. I know I am never going to be an amazing photographer but Instagram at least makes me look a little better!
