The International Make-up Artists Trade Show (IMATS) returns to the London Olympia for another year of beauty, education, inspiration, and the hottest innovations in make-up technology. The show becomes more popular every year and has become the international cornerstone for education in make-up. Once again, it will be packed with top make-up artists, beauty experts and brands that are sure to leave developing make-up artists inspired to try their new ideas. If you’re planning on making the trip to London for this fantastic event, make sure to book with the Venere website online before you go. It is a very well attended event, and audiences have grown steadily every year. And if you have never been to London before, at this website you will be able to book your hotel, your travel, and your car if you’re planning on renting one. In this way, you cannot lose this event!
This year, brand representatives from Bobbi Brown, MAC, NARS and Make Up For Ever will be in attendance. They will be showing off their latest developments in lipstick, nail polish, blush, and more. Due to the fabulous audience response last year, the Make-Up Museum will be open again! Last year the exhibits included strange creatures and special effects from The Dark Knight and Harry Potter.
The 2015 IMAT festival will host some of the most inspiring and famous artists in the industry to speak. Past guests have included Mark Coulier, the Oscar-winning artist behind The Grand Budapest Hotel and Iron Lady. Bill Corso, the artist behind John Carter and Lemony Snicket’s a Series of Unfortunate Events was the guest of honor one year. Even Allan Apone, Makeup & Effects Laboratories CEO and famed hollywood make-up artist (The Avengers, Iron Man) spoke several years ago. The keynote speeches always cover an immense range of topics, from industry trends to hot new products. In the past, speakers have adressed how to create the perfect Drag-Queen and how to perfect the art of prosthetic application.
