Today Jana Reinhardt Hummingbird Necklace
I have long been an admirer o Jana Reinhardt jewellery and I was absolutely delighted when they asked me if I would like to review a hummingbird necklace piece from their bestselling hummingbird collection.
I love silver jewellery and always wear a necklace so this hummingbird necklace perfect for me. I also like understated pieces and Jana Reinhardt does these beautifully.
About Jana Reinhardt
Jana’s pieces are entirely handmade by a small team of master goldsmiths at the Jana Reinhardt West Sussex studio. I love the authenticity of this and the traditional craftsmanship of their work. Jana and her team are well established and well thought of and have won awards and appeared in many magazines. I was excited to wear their jewellery, which is inspired by the nature al world and symbolic and simple images.
The Hummingbird necklace
I actually think this is possibly the prettiest necklace I have ever owned.
It is a tiny necklace and absolutely perfect.
Hummingbirds are probably my favourite birds. Do you knowthey are the worlds tiniest birds and hummingbirds are seen as healers and bringers of love, luck and happiness. Isn’t that wonderful? – a lovely symbol to have on a necklace.
In Native American culture, Hummingbird feathers are highly valued and used ceremonially and in a variety of dance costumes. There are so many folk ores around hummingbirds – these tiny, beautiful birds The hummingbird is believed to represent strength of being and resilience – both things we all need in the current difficult times.
