This week blogger Kerry Villers is sharing her beautiful things. You can find her writing here http://kerryvillers.com and lurking (almost constantly) on here on Instagram.
The most beautiful day I ever had ……
Oh this is a toughie. I have had so many special days. There’s my wedding day, the days when each of my three children were born, and so many lovely holidays too. But do you know what? I think the most beautiful days I have ever had, are probably the days where I’m enjoying simple things with my family. Whether that’s a country walk, or a day spent snuggled up on the sofa watching films together.
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …
Well, this is a no brainer. My children, of course!
The most beautiful thing I have ever owned …
Ha – this is also a no brainer and although it probably makes me sound a little superficial, I just can’t help myself! My husband bought me a Mulberry bag when I was pregnant with my youngest child, Elodie, and to this day, it’s my favourite belonging!
The most beautiful song I have ever heard …..
Oh definitely not a song sung by myself. I am tone deaf.
I’m going to have to bend the rules a little here, because the most beautiful music I have ever heard is not just a song, but a story and soundtrack. It’s called The Gritterman and it’s just about the most beautiful story I’ve ever heard.
The most beautiful person I know is…..
Well, as I have already listed my children as the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, I will plump for my husband on this one. It’s sooooo cheesy, but he really is my best friend.
The most beautiful thing about me is……
Oh gosh, this is precisely the kind of question I struggle to answer. I’m going to go with that I try to be kind and show empathy as much as I can.
Thank you Kerry! Your photos are astonishingly lovely.
