Today – Coffee and Cwtches
My name is Ayse and I am a mum of 2 girls (Pops, 5 and R, 1) based in Caerphilly, Wales. I write the blog CoffeeandCwtches where I write about our life living in Wales, parenting and how we support our daughter in Welsh medium education as non Welsh speaking parents.
The most beautiful day I ever had ……
Besides the days my girls were born, it would have to be the day of my baby shower with R. I didn’t have one with Pop’s and I really wanted to experience it. It was a few days before my birthday too which made it more special. A super chilled get together with some of my favourite people in the world. I felt so happy.
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …
Pretty easy answer but it would have to be R when she was born. I was put to sleep when I gave birth to Pop’s and don’t remember first seeing her. So getting to experience that moment and see my beautiful baby girl was increible.
The most beautiful thing I have ever owned …
Nothing I own is all that beautiful really, everything I have is probably just stuff. We’re looking to buy our first house so hopefully soon that will be my answer.
The most beautiful song I have ever heard …..
I recently heard a song called ‘Lost Boy’ by Ruth B. I fell in love instantly. She has such a beautiful voice and the song is just perfect. The song actually came out in 2016 so I don’t know what took me so long to hear it.
The most beautiful person I know is…..
My daughter Pops. She’s super stubborn (just like me) but I see so much love and kindness inside her. She’s always been full of love and shares it with everyone. She’s an incredible little girl and i’m so excited to watch her become an incredible adult.
The most beautiful thing about me is……
I find it hard to be kind to myself so I asked Pops what she thought the most beautiful thing was about me and she said ‘Your heart is bigger than everyone’.
