The most beautiful day I ever had ……
My favourite day ever was our first day at Disneyland Paris in 2014. I’d never been to any of the Disney resorts before and after arriving late the night before we hadn’t had time to go the park before it closed. We got up early and dashed to the park for opening time. We were one of only a few families there and had pretty much the while of main street USA to ourselves.
Seeing the castle for first time rising out of the early morning mist was amazing and something I will never forget!
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …
During our honeymoon to Las Vegas we decided to take a ride on the high roller – the Vegas version of the London Eye, only quite a bit higher. The views from the top were breath-taking – a combination of snow covered mountains, desert and the bustling city below all starkly contrasted against one another.
The most beautiful thing I have ever owned …
My wedding dress. Being primarily a personal finance blogger it may surprise you to learn that when it came to my wedding dress the word ‘thrifty’ went out of the window and decided I was going to have whatever I wanted. While it certainly wasn’t the most extravagant dress ever made, it was the most I have spent on something just for myself and I have absolutely no regrets.
I love the way it flowed and the fact that it wasn’t white and just everything about it!
The most beautiful song I have ever heard …..
Ok so I’m going to cheat a little bit here and pick three. The most beautiful pop song would be Jason Mraz ‘I won’t give up’ it’s so lovely and gives me chills every time I hear it.
Green Day – ‘Time of Your Life’ – I am a huge Green Day fan and this song is so evocative of my early teens, I never get tired of hearing it.
‘Defying Gravity’ – from the musical Wicked. I am a huge musicals fan and I welled up hearing this live for the first time – it’s such an empowering song!
The most beautiful person I know is…..
My friend Zoe. She is so kind and considerate, super supportive and a brilliant Mum to her little boy Zachary. I honestly don’t know how she manages to do everything she does!
The most beautiful thing about me is……
I am generally a very happy, positive person and really hope that rubs off on those around me!
