The most beautiful day I ever had ……
In terms of aesthetics I’d have to say my wedding day, which was an overcast November day, but spent bathed in a golden light from all the candles decorating the church, with all our nearest and dearest watching us say our vows, then eating, drinking and dancing for the rest of the day plus photos on Brighton beach.
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …
My first baby when she was pulled out of my belly and held up for me to see. I had two C-Sections, but for my first pregnancy we didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl, and when they held her up for me to see I was just so overwhelmed! Of course when Arlo was born he was beautiful too, but it wasn’t quite the same as my first birth!
The most beautiful thing I have ever owned …
Photos. Pictures of grandparents no longer with us, pet’s that are gone but not forgotten, first family holidays, first scan photos of my babies.
The most beautiful song I have ever heard …..
This is such a hard one, as there are a lot of songs that are so meaningful to me. But Mr Blue Sky by ELO is the song we walked out of church to when we got married and this verse is just so happy:
Runnin’ down the avenue
See how the sun shines brightly in the city
On the streets where once was pity
Mister blue sky is living here today, hey hey
The most beautiful person I know is…..
I couldn’t really choose one person, so I’m going to say all the friends I turn to when I have a problem or just need to chat, more often that not it’s via messages rather than in person but having those beautiful friends there when I need them (and if they need me!) is such a good feeling.
The most beautiful thing about me is…
that I will go out of my way to help people if I can. Often this is detrimental to my own work load/planned activities but I’m a firm believer in karma and hope that what goes around comes around! For example last week I found a phone in the road outside my house that had been run over, but I managed to get the memory card out, work out the name of the owner and eventually found out where her child goes to school and dropped the phone into his school to get back to his mum. I would hope that if I ever lost my phone someone would do the same for me- think of all the photos and videos you’d potentially lose, and I am so glad she didn’t lose hers!
