Oh how I love to support small companies infused and motivated by ethical creativity and when their products live up to the hype I want to shout it from the rooftops.

Nooraa, is a a Vegan candle brand based in Hampshire. The company was created by Brooke Oliver and her partner Ed who set up Nooraa when they realised there is a lack of truly ethical, premium fragrance brands on the market.
The brand is totally vegan (down to the ink on their packaging) They also pride themselves on being cruelty free and all their products are fully recyclable, even their packaging. And when it comes to their carbon footprint they have addressed that too . Every single thing that goes into their products is sourced and created in the UK.

Vanilla Musk and Lavender Noora Vegan Candles
I was sent a vanilla musk and lavender candle to review and I have to say it is so pretty and the scent is gorgeous
Noora term this their Mellow candle and it truly is!
It combines Vanilla Musk and Lavender with he intent ‘to help restore a sense of balance and calm – no better way to unwind after long day.’
I have been burning mine in the kitchen this morning as a I penned my latest weellbeing book and I do indeed feelt all kinds of mellow – it is a beautiful and soothing fragrance. Will be taking it with me to the bath later too.
The hand poured candles have been made using a unique blend of essential oils and the finest blend of natural and soy wax and the burn time is 40 hours which is excellent.

I love the simple design nd the pastels and I could totally see me building up a little collection of these. Oh and wouldn’t they make the most perfect candle gifts too? I think my next pick would have to be Bloom it just sounds so summery with refreshing pink pepper oil and the soothing rose oil.

How to make your vegan candles last longer
Noora share some advice on making your eco-friendly vegan candles last longer that I am so happy to share with you here. I have never done any of these things and always experience tunneling and bent wicks!
– Ensure the wick is trimmed to 5mm in length – to stop uneven melt of the wax.
– Ensure wick is standing upright so it burns easily .
– If the wick bends over slightly blow it out trim the wick and restart.
– On the first burn, let your vegan candles achieve burn for at least an hour as you need a full melt pool across the top to avoid tunneling
