A Pretty Profusion of Pink and Purple

Oh my goodness I just absolutely love this quote from Browning…..

Even if you think the Big Bang created the stars, don’t you wonder who sent the flowers? ~Robert Brault,

Flowers absolutely make your soul sing don’t they, bewiitching, fragrant and pretty as a picture.. only a true artist could have possibly designed them. i do not know a soul who does not appreciate a flower. Their is no age or gender barrier to the appreciation of their loveliness. Flowers make us all wonder.

Our garden is bursting with pinks and purples and the butterflies are dancing in delight at such an absolutely glorious riot of sights and smells..and who can blame them!

Profusion of Pink and Purple

This gorgeous passionflower was hiding under a bush

We have lots of these but I simply have no clue what they are called! Do you know?

The butterflies adore the buddleia but can I get a photo! They just flitter about teasing me as  I try.

Pink and Purple

The prettiest camellia ever.

Pink and Purple

A crash landing!

Isn’t a summer garden just gorgeous! A profusion of Pink and Purple

This post is in memory of my beautiful mother Susan Eileen Williamson who passed to God  four years ago today. She taught me to see beauty everywhere and in everyone.

Lovely photos, the one at the end tugged at my heart strings. That is definitely a crash landing! We had passionflowers in our garden when I was growing up. Neither of my parents were gardeners but these always seemed to keep growing! x

Lovely to see this picture of your mum, so beautiful. Thoughts with you today Becky, I think she would be pleased you are seeing the beauty in things. Passionflowers always remind me of my parents house, Dad has them growing up the wall, Mum loved them. Lavatera might be the pink one, not 100% sure though xxx
