My ray of sunshine

My daughter Annalise makes me think of the colour yellow.

She is a ray of sunshine in the world. She is such a kind girl and she radiates loveliness.

My ray of sunshine

Yellow is the perfect colour for her to wear as it reflects her sunny personality.

Recently her friend’s kitten went missing so she drew lots of pictures of her (Jill) and wrote on the top of the pictures

Jill is a girl who is brown and a bit black too . She has short legs and she is a kitten Please bring  her to ( our house ) if you find her.

She and I travelled around sticking her crayoned posters on trees. 3 weeks later Jill has indeed been found and Lisi is convinced her crayonned posters helped.

My own life has changed immeasurable recently due to some significant health issues and she has been fabulously supportive despite only being 6.

‘Mummy I left something in your bed for you to cheer you up’ she told me the other evening.

Look what I found….

Such a lovely, kind, thoughtful  little ray of sunshine and I know how absolutely blessed we are to have her. May she alway s be the colour yellow.

Wow doesn’t just look lovely in that colour? Yellow is my new favourite colour right now, probably because it makes me think of the sun and daffodils – keeps the optimism flowing!

One day your daughter will look back and see this on your blog and imagine the shot of joy it will give her to see her mama thought she was her ray of sunshine. Gorgeous

Ah how lovely of her. Kittys just getting in to leaving me little notes around the house, which I am loving – which reminds me I want to pop one in her lunchbox today!
Yellow really suits her, so pretty – I can see where she get’s her caring nature from x
