Flowers for everyone
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.

There are flowers for everyone
I do believe this; from a simple white lily or orchid for the elegant minimalist to a huge posy of ramshackle and rather fabulous peonies – for people like me,who lack a little order and adore their wildness.
My mum loved a big bunch of colourful roses, always English and always fragrant, she rather loved Lily of the Valley too.
My Granddad was an iris fan, but loved his own grown garden blooms more than any you could buy. What pride he took in them. He was very partial to me turning up on a Spring day with some daffodils and tulips too. How I loved to surprise him. Such happy memories.
I do love to receive them but also to send them.
Flowers for every occasion
I have sent flowers on so many memorable occasions – to my dear friend Naomi on her first book launch, to my friend Dave when his engagement sadly broke off, to my friend on a special 40th birthday when I couldn’t make it, to too many funerals. I have sent them on births of babies, on get well soon’s…so many flowers that have sped their way to people I love with my very best wishes. I don’t think it is ever the wrong move to send flowers.
I think people like to receive them because it is a delightful surprise, it fragrances and brightens their home and it seems so personal event though it has been posted.
They are universally loved and I think will always be a perfect gift idea. So simple and natural, yet so absolutely amazing.
I do believe there are flowers for everyone.
