Today – A Stylish Children’s Garden

Desperately seeking a stylish children’s garden

Do you long for a  children’s garden that looks stylish too?

For a long time we have lived with an abundance of plastic in our garden. Plastic watering cans, plastic slide, plastic skittles, plastic ride-ons have dominated and it has been a riot of noise colour and fun.

Whilst that was fine and dandy part of us longed for the day the plastic would go. Don’t get me wrong we absolutely want our kids out in the garden playing, getting fresh air and being creative, learning to nurture, tend, grow and explore. I also want them to play, have fun and relax in the garden

The children have a treehouse and a giant trampoline and we wanted them to have some more fun things in the garden (without introducing yet more plastic.) so this more design led children’s garden began to take shape

Fun additions to a Stylish  children’s garden

A trip to HomeSense resulted in these fun, stylish and quirky additions….

Creating our children’s garden

I love the weatherproof easel, the fabulous pully cart and the bird’s house. They are great colours, lots of fun and really stylish touch in the children’s garden space.

The kids are delighted with their new toys and we feel they fit in really harmoniously with the garden.

How delightful. I have a weed run small garden in need of kidifying and I don’t know where to start we don’t have a tree or anything to hand bird houses from. But I sure would love to same some. I enjoy birdsong and reminds of home
