Do you know how many words you can type in 60 seconds If not, then why not find out! There’s been a great Typing Game launched that not only helps you to learn how good you are at typing but can also help teach you how to touch type.
How do you play test your typing skills
The game is easy to get your head around. You get given a choice of 10 categories to choose from, these include the following:
- Art
- British Towns
- Cities
- Food
- Garden
- History
- Movies
- Music
- Sports
- TV Shows
Once you’ve selected your category you get 60 seconds to type out as many words as you can. Once you’ve finished, enter your details and you find out where you finished. You never know, you might end up in the top 3!
How can this game help you?
Not only does this game help you to perfect your typing skills, it also helps your typing speed and accuracy. The more you play, the more accurate you’ll find your typing becomes.
It can also help you to learn to touch type. Touch typists are renowned for their ability to type faster as they’re not needing to look at the keyboard as they type. You’ll often find that, when you look down at the keyboard as you type, it takes you longer because you’re focussing too much on where they keys are. If you can memorise the keyboard and develop muscle memory, you’ll become a far more efficient typist.
