Tween Boys Christmas

Smiggle – Smiggle sell some lovely items for boys and this flip top spout Universe bottle (£8.50) is great fun for tweens. It features robots and comes in a cool blue and orange design. Coordinating items across the range are available as are other designs and the bottle is BPA free.

Love the matching universe scented pop out pencil case (£15.50) It comes complete with scissors, tape and a pencil sharpener pop outs!

Goo – I don’t know a tween boy or girl who doesn’t like a bit of goo!   The neon squeeze goo (£7) also from Smiggle is the perfect tween gift. You can squeeze it, shape it and splat it and stretch it time and time again. This brilliant new goo can do anything, can be squeezed and moulded into almost any shape and holds it form. It splats on any flat surface, without staining too (what a relief!)

Choc Sprouts – The next gift idea is your chance to play a bit of a joke on your tween boy especially if they are a Brussel sprouts hater. This box of solid chocolate Brussel sprouts  (£9.99) will confuse then delight them! Why not pop a couple on their Christmas dinner plate!

A Beano subscription -The Beano has been around for so long yet it remains a firm favourite with Tweens across the UK.  It still comes out weekly and for a 3-month subscription, you can pay as little as £17. It really encourages reluctant readers because its so funny they forget they are reading! It remains uncommercialised and fabulously irreverent.  A great gift idea for a gift that keeps on giving and that will encourage them to read and laugh!

VTech Kidzoom Action Cam 180 (£49.99) This durable action camera with rotatable lens allows children to take photos, record videos and play games. The camera comes with a waterproof case for underwater photos and videos as well as a mount that can be attached to bicycles, scooters, skateboards and more! It has stop/slow/fast motion settings. How cool is that – really encourages kids to be creative!

Radio controlled robot (£22.99) – this fun remote-controlled robot for kids dances, talks, walks and slides. You can use the remote to make the RC robot turn his head left and right to search for targets and then he shoots foam missiles. fabulous!

Games are always a big hit with this age group too.

Subbuteo – such a fun game that has been around for so long. Subbuteo (£29.99) can keep kids entertained for hours. Football flicking fun indoors and not a screen in sight!  The Subbuteo Game comes complete with 20 players, 2 goalies, 2 goals, the pitch, a Subbuteo ball and rules. You can even buy their favourite team ! Lovely and one for all the family to play.

It is really important  to continue to encourage creativity at this age and not let it just slip away

This fabulous mould and paint dinosaur set from the Natural History Museum looks great fun, The plaster and moulds provided can create a range of dinosaur models, magnets and pins, then paint them with the glow-in-the-dark paint and brushes which are also included. The Mould & Paint Dinosaur set (£9.99|) contains plaster, moulds, paints, brush, six magnets and six brooch pins.

I just cannot have a tween list without Lego on! The big hit Lego of this year is Lego Ninjago and the Lego ties in with the fabulous Ninjago movie.  I love this green Ninja mech dragon

It is 13cm high, 60cm long and 12cm wide, comes with 4 minifigures and over 500 pieces. It costs  £36.98. So much play potential too! This will keep them busy.

I hope this list has inspired you. Check out my tween girl gift guide too
