View Quest Retro Mini Review
Do you listen to the radio?
I do, everyday.
At the moment I have Classic FM on in the background but I do like a bit of Desert Island Discs on 4 and a bit of pop on radio1 and if I am relaxing smooth radio does it for me!
I work on my own at home and sometimes it can get a little well work-alone-y. I do like to have a little chat on facebook and twitter but they really can send me off on the most HUGE tangents. I have really fallen in love with listening to the as I work over the last year to hear the little hum of chatter , an occasional play or bit of news and some eclectic music too…well the variety just keeps me interested and alert without pulling me off track into long conversations.
A quality radio is definitely one of my blogging necessities, along with my camera, a great pen and a beautiful notebook.

I was completely delighted to receive a retro mini radio from View Quest to review. It is my idea of pocket sized perfection. I love that it is small enough to be carried around with me as I work today’s it’s been upstairs photographing the bathroom with me and into the lounge whilst I was styling up some new cushions. It certainly beats lugging the lap top around and means I didn’t have to miss a minute of what I was listening to.
Best of all, it just looks fabulous wherever you put it!
Thinking ahead how perfect is this cute little radio going to be for taking on picnics come the summer. Just lovely.
Features include:
DAB, DAB+ and FM radio reception which means you have access to the full range of digital and analogue services across the UK and Europe (without having to tune it in each time.)
It has wireless connectivity and you can connect your smartphone, tablet, MP3 player or any other smart device via Bluetooth – or use the 3.5mm aux input to connect other devices and stream your music.
It has a battery life of 15 hours should you wish to use it and it has an alarm feature so it is the perfect bedtime companion. Ooh an headphone jack and a USB charging port so you can charge your device as you stream.
All in all it is pretty fabulous and the sound quality is brilliant.
It comes in a fabulous array of 12 colours too so you can pick one to suit your decor.
I really cannot recommend this fabulous little radio enough.

I don’t think radio can be a vital source in our life nowadays, you even can listen to radio by your smartphone. However, I am impressed by its multi-function that you mentioned, from connecting to other devices to alarming and…it’s so cute

Love digital radio and I’m after a compact, portable one for around the home and up the allotment. And this blue colour would go brilliantly with the sofa in the lounge lol! x
These little radios looks so cute, I love that you can just carry them round the house with you. My mum recently got a stereo that connects to her iPad and I was amazed, she was very smug showing me her tech 🙂 I’ve been on the look out for a DAB radio that does both so I will definitely check these out!
This radio is cool .
This little radio is so cute! I work from home too and it’s so good to have a radio! I flick between Radio 4 & Radio 6.
How lovely! I adore my Christie radio which is on almost permanently in the kitchen (we leave it on overnight for the puppy, she seems to live 5 Live!) I’d love a mini one for the bedroom.
Loving your new look Becky. x
