What Should You Know About Numerology If You Are a Spiritual Person?

The study of numerology is a metaphysical practice that goes back thousands of years. It finds numerical patterns in life and uses these numbers to explain phenomena. Not dissimilar to astrological readings, your numerological chart can tell you a lot about yourself, what kind of a year you will have, and even who you might have romantic compatibility with.

Your birth date determines your life path number and this alone can give you an incredible insight into the kind of person you are, where your life might take you, and what gives you joy.

Life Path Numbers – What Should You Know About Numerology?

Life path numbers range from 1-9, 11, and 22. These numbers are worked out by taking your date of birth and reducing each number in the date to a single digit. So, if you were born on the 11th of a month, you would add 1+1 and get 2. Then do the same for the month and year and keep reducing down until you have a single digit, 11, 22, or 33.

But why do we do this, you might ask. If you feel lost or unsure of the greater purpose or direction of your life you can use your life path number to determine your career path, remind you of your values and inform your choices. Numerology can even be used to make more sense of astrology or mathematics and is used to help find patterns in the universe.

It can be a great comfort to have your uncertainties met with a guiding hand, an explanation as to why you might feel unhappy on your current path, or with your choices of late. Understanding your life path number can lead you to better understanding yourself and shaping your destiny.
