The Good pub guide 2018
The good pub guide 2019 does exactly what it says on the cover. It details the top 5,000 pubs for food and drink in the UK.This means wherever you are in the UK you will always find a great place to eat and drink somewhere nearby. The milkshake bar
Compiled by Hannah Miles of MasterChef finalist fame, this Milkshake Bar book has 30 recipes of absolute treats. From healthy fruity and fresh to pure indulgence. It has delights such as banana caramel milkshake to an apple snow shake and a doughnut float. Oh my goodness this is going to be a fun book to own for my 11-year-old ( and me!)
This book is just perfect for those doing dry January or who fancy a little break from their drinking. (Or who like me don’t actually drink at all.) Helen McGinn is the author of The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, and taking a new direction she delivers recipes for mocktails, infusions and cordials, as well as offering her opinions on non-alcoholic wines, beers and spirits. How fabulous. So often it is considered really dull not to drink and this book shows it really does not have to be. I feel so inspired to jazz up our non-alcoholic drink offerings now!
Chasing the dram
And now we are back to whiskey! Rachel McCormack travels the length of Scotland to share funny and interesting facts about whiskey, how to use it in food and where and how it is made plus interviews with those who make it. One for whiskey lovers and cooks!
