Winter Skincare Needs – Things to Consider

Winter skincare needs  – My changing skin

Since I hit my forties I have had to start to be much more careful with my skin.

I love the sunshine and being outdoors and I spent most of my younger years riding horses, bikes and sunbathing with no regard for the weather taking its toll on my skin.

In my 20’s and 30’s I would slap on a little moisturiser as and when I thought about it but honestly I have never really been too concerned about appearances and would always rather be about and about.

Then came my forties and with them drier, patchier skin and wrinkles a-plenty and suddenly I began to see why people took care of their skin!

My current routine

My winter skincare routine is still very simple. I use facial wipes to take off my make up off and then I pop on a moisturiser for older skin. I tried various brands but haven’t yet found the perfect one for me.

I have created a little beauty wish-list of some products I think it would be great for me to try particularly in these harsh winter months.

My winter skincare needs wishlist

My eyes have a got puffier as I have got older and I have been thinking I should try something for them

I love the look of this Kaeso cream to de-puff the eyes and that it uses natural ingredients. Specially formulated with refreshing Witch Hazel and Soothing Balm Mint to visibly improve the condition of the delicate eye area and it has Conditioning Grapeseed Oil to leave lashes feeling silky and smooth.

This can be bought from Capital Hair and Beauty and is only £5.50!

The Kaeso facial oil £5.70 is also from Capital and offers intensive hydration as a rejuvenating night treatment or as a flawless base for makeup application. It is infused with natural extracts of fig and mulberry and it is said to restore radiance. Sounds good to me.

I also really like the look of this collagen mask.

It sounds like it would totally meet my ageing and moisturising needs – rejuvenate and revive- that is just what I need! These are luxury masks are also perfect before a night out on special occasion or for pure indulgent luxury and relaxation.

Sounds heavenly. It is also from Capital Hair and Beauty and this costs £2.45 and might be just the treat my face needs.

So some lovely items  that would make a great addition to my winter skin care regime.
