It’s so lovely to be able to take a long a bottle of wine when you are a guest and i have some lovely options here that won’t break the bank.
Calvet Cuvée du Cap Sauvignon Blanc
This is a beautiful wine with white peach and lime aromas. To be served alongside a shellfish platter, mixed salad or grilled fish. Lovely and light.

A fresh, round, fruity white wine with a delicate bouquet of citrus notes.

La P’tite Pierre Red (£7.25, Tesco)
This is my favourite of the under £10 bunch.
It is the coolest purple in colour, offers velvety tannins, underlying spices and a fruity finish.
Perfect for pairing with winter favourites and complementing the flavours of sausages wrapped in bacon.

Nozeco Sparkling Brut
Got to cater for the non-drinkers and the drivers – one of the most responsible things you can do when Christmas wine gifting!
This zero-alcohol fizz is dominated by white flowers and muscat white grapes. It’s a refreshing choice to enjoy as an apéritif, perfect for beginning the festive celebrations and is delicious paired with elderflower or orange juice.

This festive season, Wahaca has launched a collection of gourmet gifts that bring the vibrant deliciousness of Mexican cuisine. Whether it’s a stocking filler, or part of a show-stopping hamper of Mexcican treats they have some tasty options!

Wahaca Tommi’s Margarita (£4.70)
Wahaca’s legendary house Tommi’s margarita is now available in a can. Made with 100% blue weber agave tequila, fresh lime and smooth organic agave syrup, this premium take on a classic margarita is crisp, refreshing, and ready to drink. Wahaca Picante Margarita (£4.70)
Wahaca’s Picante Margarita in a can is another, spicier must-try. This perfectly balanced blend of premium tequila, fresh lime, organic agave syrup and a touch of chilli delivers a little fire with a lot of flavour.
A great stocking filler for spice-lovers, this drink can be served straight from the can or poured over ice with a salted rim and jalapeño slice for an extra kick.

Wahaca Salsa Macha (£7.95)

Lily O’Briens Salted Caramel Truffles
Lily O’Briens Salted Caramel Truffles are simply lush.
I put them to one side to share with my nephew and before I knew it I had eaten the box. They are rich, creamy and so. so moorish! You can find them at Waitrose for £6.25 and they make a great secret Santa (or a treat for YOU!)

Botanist Islay Gin Gift Set
Botanist is a wonderful gin from Bruichladdich, a company which not only make excellent spirits but also are a certified B Corp – meaning they make every effort to local after their local area, people and the environment. This pack comes with a full-size bottle of their crisp, juniper-forward gin, plus a large glass – great for either filling with ice and a G&T, or for using as a mixing glass for gin cocktails.
What can I say! It tastes delicious, the glass is truly beautiful (and generous) and it is wonderful and very special gift set for a gin lover at Christmas!

Fatso
FATSO are shaking up the world of dark chocolate, with amazing flavour combos all featuring the most delicious, single-origin and ethically sourced dark chocolate from Colombia. I absolutely adored their FATSO Foursome Giftbox.
I adored these fun flavour combinations and how ethically sourced this product is. Made in Richmond. Each bar is wrapped in compostable bio-film produced from renewable wood pulp harvested from sustainably managed forests and packaged in a fun illustrated recyclable card box with a festive print.
The Kings Ransom Pistachio, with mint and coco nibs was my standout favourite.

The new flavour from FATSO this season is Drunk’n Monkey and it combines rum, banana chips and salted cracker. It is a taste sensation!

Oato is a fabulous Christmas gifting option! It is British made oat milk, that is sustainable and absolutely DELICIOUS!!
It makes a unique gift that keeps on giving. You could gift someone a subscription for Oato, available for daily delivery via a number of milk rounds – proper old school deliciousness! Prices start at just £1.35 and it makes an unsual foodie gift idea!

Gu Goodies
More cholate goodies from Gu this time in the shape of their Jaffa cake cheesecake.
Four glorious layers start with a rich cocoa biscuit base, topped with silky orange curd, a bright, zesty mascarpone cheesecake, and a velvety chocolate crème made from Gü’s signature blend of dark and milk chocolate. With a touch of bold Spanish orange zest and the result is the perfect tango of tangy citrus and indulgent cocoa, setting the tastebuds tingling.
Absolutely delicious, I just loved it! Jaffa cake fans will be in heaven.

But what if you have a sweet tooth but don’t love choc?
Well no worries because also new to the Gu range is their sticky toffee pudding. This light yet squidgy sponge made with over 20% juicy dates, smothered in a buttery, golden toffee sauce that’s sweet, salty and utterly moreish. With fragrant Madagascan vanilla and a touch of French salted butter for balance, it’s perfect served warm, ideally with a side scoop of melting vanilla ice cream or lashings of custard.
It taste homemade, indulgent and made me super happy!

Due Vittorie Oro Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Gift Box
True foodies juts love their oils and vinegars and this balsamic is a bit special.
