The Upp Light from Upp Wellbeing – Daylight Simulation Light Review

I was so excited to be asked to review the world’s largest full spectrum light, the brand new Upp light from Upp Wellbeing.

The Upp® Light, is an ultra-thin, wall-mounted panel light that aims to simulate the full spectrum of natural daylight, bringing the benefits of the outdoors, indoors. It’s soothing light aims to create the perfect ambience for reading, meditation, or simply relaxing (or waking up!)

How the Upp light has helped my mornings

The Upp light is perfect for grey days and those struggling with SAD.  It’s soft, glare-free light is ideal for relaxing with a good book but it is also absolutely the perfect way to feel wide awake when it is dark and gloomy outside and you need an early start.

I have a huge amount of work on at the moment and early mornings can feel so bleak. It takes me ages to get going.  I have been fuelling myself up on coffee which by mid morning makes me super jittery. The Upp light is a much better solution, making me feel wide awake without the need for tons of caffeine (though I’ll always have one!)

I switch it on every morning now for a few hours till it’s lighter and brighter outside and I am fully awake. I wouldn’t be with out it.

Is this something you think might help you?

The many ways to use an Upp light

The perfect morning starts for those grey days. I use the light as part of my morning routine for 20 minutes to kick start my circadian rhythm and to wake myself up fully. I get around 3 hours more productive time in the mornings because of this. I even use the light to work late into the night without the need for coffee.

The perfect end to a long walk. The family and I love coming back from a walk to the light panel. My son associates the light with warming up as it does seem to give off warmth, it’s hard to explain without experiencing it. Highly recommend this light for those darker months.
