Oh Andy Hau these are lovely!
These cushions are a bit special. They are like a book in cushion form!
London designer Andy Hau has just launched his quirky cushion collection on Not On The High Street one of my absolutely favourite places to shop. The collection is called Tales from the War and other short stories and each of the four cushions shows an adventure of a quirky fox called Harlequin, or ‘Quinn’ as he is known to his twitter followers (@quinn_the_fox).
The cushion covers all cost £30 and are a lovely quality cushion40 x 40cm and are printed on unbleached 10oz canvas with a zip. The back of each cushion has a repeat fox head pattern on the back which is chic and very current whist being really classic and British too.
The cushion I chose to review is called the Persistence of Volition. It looks rather lovely on my grey chair.
‘Its not the wings of a bird that allow it to fly but its persistent desire to leave the ground in the first place.
I love that it tells a story, inspires me with its message and looks like a piece of art too. Wonderful and so different to the usual cushions that adorn our sodas.
I am quite tempted to get another!
