Beautiful Things by Helen Lindop

Helen Lindop is a  business blogger and my business mentor. She is a  woman I admire and respect tremendously. I am delighted she has shared her beautiful things with us.  Here’s what she had to say……

The most beautiful day I ever had ……

When my son was born. He’s my second baby, born just over a year after my first so I didn’t have that new mum anxiety the second time.  That first hour when we were just having a cuddle and getting to know each other was lovely.

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …

My children of course!

The most beautiful thing I have ever owned …

One of my favourite possessions as a child was a big chunk of amethyst in its natural state. It was rock on the bottom and crystals on the top.  I liked the natural beauty, the fact that this had formed all by itself in a rock somewhere. It was purple and sparkly too!

The most beautiful song I have ever heard …

I’m torn between KD Lang’s version of ‘Hallelujah’ and Cara Dillon’s ‘Black is the colour’. Or maybe the Flower Duet from Lakme.  I can’t decide, sorry!

The most beautiful person I know is…..

I can’t pick out just one person – all of us are beautiful in our own way.  That may sound a bit of a cliché, but I really do believe it.

The most beautiful thing about me is……

Just being here.  I’ve had the good fortune to be living here, right now at the start of the 21st century.  That I’m alive, fit and well, I’ve had an education, I have access to modern health care and my family are here with me.

Helen Lindop is a business blogger , author and trainer. She blogs at HelenLindop.com

Yay, someone else who thinks rocks or in my case, bits of worn down glass, are beautiful!
