It is the most lovely store and it sells some fabulous stationery and gift items.
I am delighted to show you a few of my favourite pieces.
Chase and Wonder
I still adore a new pencil case despite the fact it has been many years since I was at school. Without one my bag liners are destroyed by leaky pens! The perils of being a writer!
Chase and Wonder sell a range of wash bags, purses and pencil cases in cotton canvas. In this Alphabet pencil case (£10), the hand screen printed case has had each letter hand drawn.
The quality is high and Chase and Wonder have real pride in the making of their goods:
We print the fabric, and then send it off to be cut and made up into the product by a fantastic small, independent (and British) team of sewers. We then recieve the items back and attach the ribbon pull- checking at every stage the product is of the highest standard.
I also received some classy cards from Chase and Wonder and they do have an inspiring range across all imaginable categories. This is one of my favourite:
These cards are all printed in Great Britain onto FSC approved paper (this means the card is from a sustainable source) Well priced at £3 and beautiful quality.
Oh I must also show you just one of the very special prints they sell. This Thoreau quote print (£32) is just so sunny and uplifting. It is a limited edition letterpress print of which 100% of all proceeds will go the Housing and Homeless Charity, Shelter. Isn’t that wonderful.

One of the things Chase and Wonder do best are writing sets and correspondence sets and there really is a set for everyone. This one really appealed to me The penmans writing set 9(£30) contains

10 sheets of plain writing paper,
5 hand letter pressed correspondence cards,
15 matching envelopes,
All tied in a bowed ribbon.
It is such a gorgeous set and refills are available. I really like the traditional styling the Britishness and the quality if these sets.
