Gousto Box Review
I am not a confident cook despite having been vegetarian for 31 years and an avid food lover. I make a great salad and my fairy cakes are okay but that really is about it!
When Gousto asked me if I would like to review one of their boxes I said yes without much thought but then it arrived. It was filled with lots of ingredients and recipes I was suppose to cook. I have to admit I felt a little scared.#
Gousto boxes are intended to save you time and trouble and waste.
In their own words….
We send you quality ingredients in exact portions, and easy-to-follow recipe cards that let you cook like the Fonz of food. Boxes are delivered weekly, but you can pause your account at any time
I so want to be able to cook like the ‘Fonz of food!’
Gousto Box Review
In my box were 3 veggie recipe cards and the exact ., measured out ingredients for me to make the meals. First up was
Dukon Curry, the recipe card was fabulous, really clear and had photos at each and every stage. I had never heard of Dukon apparently it is some kind of giant radish!
I have to tell you it was straightforward to make..so helpful to have all the ingredients and have them already measured and absolutely scrumptious. really good and different to what we would normally eat too. I was proud!!
From the ox so far I have also made lemony lentils & squash which comprised of lentils, squash and lemons (obvs!) and also absolutely delicious and another easy to follow recipe.
ooh I am liking these recipes super healthy and extremely tasty too.
Each week you get to pick 3 recipes to go in your box, you can order as often as you like and stop at any time. Gousto boxes cost £34.99 for 2 of you to have 3 meals. But on your first box you only pay 50% so well worth a try to see if it is for you.
The quality of the food is excellent and much of it is organic,
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“We’re incredibly passionate about our ingredients and want to supply you with the very best. We work with a select group of trusted suppliers to ensure that we always provide you with great food that you won’t find in the supermarket.
I really enjoyed cooking from my Gousto box review and it has inspired me to cook more.
