Hi, my name is Laura, wife of one and Mum to five. I live in Lancashire with my children Lewis 13, Eva 5, Megan 4, Harrison 3, and with Joseph in our hearts. I blog about the highs and lows of raising rainbows, raising awareness, and sharing the things, people and places we love.
The most beautiful day I ever had….was our family trip to Lapland UK last year. I can’t even begin to explain how magical it was or how emotional I felt to share it with my husband and children. It felt as though we had stepped right into our favourite Christmas movie.
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen …was all five of my children as they came into the world. I doubt that any parent will ever forget the moment they first laid eyes on their babies.
The most beautiful thing I have ever owned … is my wedding dress. It was a Maggie Sottero lace design and as soon as I saw it I knew that it was the one for me. I still have it at my parents house as I just can’t bear to part with it.
The most beautiful song I have ever heard …..is Eva Cassidy Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It’s a song which means so much to our family and the song we played at my sons funeral. It never fails to make me feel a whole range of emotions.
The most beautiful person I know is…..my Mum. I don’t tell her that often enough, but she means the absolute word to me and I am so lucky to have had her as my role model growing up.
The most beautiful thing about me is……my heart.
