Planning a Holiday Capsule Wardrobe

Holiday time – Planning a Holiday Capsule Wardrobe

It is nearly summer and I just absolutely cannot wait.

We are off to our villa in Gale in Portugal in a few weeks. It is, undoubtedly, one of my favourite places in the world.

Have you been to Portugal? Ah, it is wonderful. It has the most stunning beaches and fabulous rock formations and little coffee and cake cafes and the boat trips form the nearby marina are just spellbinding. We have had some beautiful holidays here.

I am in need of some new summer clothes and have been creating a little capsule holiday wardrobe  – would you like to see my picks?

I do like to travel light and I like everything to co-ordinate ao there is minimal fuss involved. No one needs wardrobe woes when they are in their holiday vibe do they?

On the beach

The first thing I need is a new bikini and I am all about pretty and feminine this summer when it comes to beachwear.

I just love this bikini from Floozie by Frost French..the design is unusual and so very pretty and well it just screams summer holiday doesn’t it!

This beautiful (and very handy) beach bag is also from Frost French and co-ordinates perfectly with the bikini and its floral/natural theme.

So that is the beach sorted!

Off the beach

Of the beach my colours my wardrobe theme is much more classic and navy and white are my key colours. How I love this striped Quiz jumpsuit, so stylish and so simple

I also rather love these striped shorts form Dorothy Perkins – they look super comfy and I could pair them with both white and navy vests/tees. They are a £10 bargain too!

This lovely blue Bardot top and white shorts would also fit seamlessly into my capsule summer wardrobe and work for both the beach or for an evening out.

And how about these lovely white sandals?

I think they are just so pretty. They are really simple and yet so very versatile they would go with any of my chosen outfits. And they will show off a tan and painted toes to perfection. I love that they have a cork sole too and the style is timeless. These are by Dune

So what do you think of my capsule summer wardrobe?

I have had so much fun putting it together.

I think it’s very classic (apart from the beachwear- which is just fun!) and it is definitely filled with items that I can wear year after year.

By checking out the latest Groupon deals for Debenhams ( where all the above items can be found) I am sure to make some great savings and get real value for my money.

Have you been summer clothes shopping yet? What look are you after this season?
