Ragdale Hall Review
We have just returned from a Refresh and Revive Spa Day at Ragdale Hall review. We have been collaborating with Buyagift who offer this spa day experience via their website. We were delighted to head off to review this well-known luxury spa.

The staff welcome at our Ragdale Hall review
From the minute we set foot in the beautiful Ragdale Hall we were treated with warmth and kindness by all the staff. They were polite and attentive and helpful. This, I feel, can make or break an experience. As soon as we arrived we were sat down and bought a complimentary drink and our day was talked through by a staff member. Their locker system is very cool and I was a tiny bit unsure of it (tech is not my thing) but the staff member at the spa was so happy to show me how to use it. From the restaurant through to our treatments we encountered pleasant and helpful staff. Really impressive.
You are given a robe and towels on arrival and these can be exchanged at any time for fresh ones.
The Thermal Spa at Ragdale Hall
I have so many good things to say about the thermal spa at Ragdale Hall. I honestly think I could have stayed there forever.
There were so many different rooms and experiences it was an absolute delight. From throwing a wishing stone in the stream, wandering down into the underground candlelit pool and sitting in the aromatherapy steam room, everything was fabulous. We both felt deeply relaxed. It also has an indoor/outdoor Waterfall Pool and a series of heat and water experiences. The spa has a huge amount of seating areas set in beautiful surroundings too so you can take time to chill between experiences.
It is the best thermal spa I have been to with 12 different area on offer.

Ragdale Hall Review – The Pools
The main pool has a cascade and a jacuzzi and it is HUGE. At no point did any of the areas at Ragdale feel at all crowded and the pool was absolutely stunning with so much room. Again there was seating all around it for those want to just read,. The exercise pool with gym equipment in it was also used for classes. But our favourite – without a shadow of a doubt was the rooftop infinity pool. It was heated, you had gorgeous views, there were wonderful sporadic jets plus a lush lounge nearby to relax in. Just idyllic, even on a cold winters day.

Our treatments during our Ragdale Hall Review
I opted to have a hand and foot massage and conditioning treatment as part of my Ragdale Hall Review and oh they were blissful. My OH, who was living his best life that day had a wonderful back massage and a facial massage and treatment. We were both so blissed out afterwards we almost fell asleep in our chairs. Dotted all around Ragdale Hall are numerous, beautifully designed area for you to relax in from mind therapy rooms to a greenhouse room, big fireplaces and cool funky spaces there is always somewhere for you to sit and chat or have a nap.
Just lovely.
Food and drink at our Ragdale Hall review
Well, there a number of eating areas and places to get a drink at Ragdale and despite having a wealth of tasty healthy options you can certainly find cake and coffee if that’s your preference and a beer!
Our 3-course lunch was in the dining room and as vegetarians, we are used to there being a limited choice. But actually, at Ragdale, there was an abundance of veggie options and we had such a lovely meal, mushroom soup, stir fry a myriad of puddings and salads galore. Delicious. One of the very best bits of our Ragdlae Hall review

Overall impressions after our Ragdale Hall Review
Friendly, warm and luxurious, interesting, spacious and comfortable we could go on and on about how much we like Ragdale Hall
Our standout favourite things were the candle pool and rooftop pool and the treatments and the food – oh, actually it was just everything.
Would we go back? Yes, we absolutely would, in a heartbeat. Our day at Ragdale was so lovely, we felt refreshed, stress-free and reconnected. Such a lovely thing for a couple to do together. Lotts of people were there in couples, some were there with friends, and there were lots of mums and daughters there. Just a wonderful way to spend quality time with someone you care about.
Ragdale Hall offers
We didn’t do this during our Ragdale hall Review but Ragdale also offer overnight stays (oh, how absolutely wonderful that would be) They also offer a myriad of other treatments and a wonderful programme of fitness throughout the day. They also have a gym, country walks, makeup lessons and more.
It really does have it all.
We would highly recommend this Buyagift experience of refresh and revive – we just loved it. It is worth every penny.
