Are you wondering what to see and do in San Antonio Ibiza? Well read on for some top tips.
San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) can be found on the Spanish island of Ibiza, it is a hugely popular resort that tourists return to again and again due to the beautiful beaches and the fun to be had!
It is a place I have often longed to visit – I have heard so may great things about it, so I have done some exploring and compiled my bucket list of the things I would want to see and do if I was there.
What to See and Do in San Antonio Ibiza
The sunsets in Ibiza are world renowned and San Antonio is the place to watch them – a place to take your camera for sure. San Antonio is a lively resort but it has its romantic side to and the aptly named sunset strip is a place where visitors come to sit in the beach side cafes, drinking cocktails and relaxing as they watch the setting sun.
Later though of course the atmosphere turns a lot more exhilarating and the clubs and pubs come to life. The nightclubs in San Antonio are known for their cool DJ’s and wild dance parties and go on long, long into the next morning. How perfect after a day spent lazing around on a golden, sandy beach.
San Antonio is also really well known for its water activities with ferries to take you to other smaller beaches. Jet skis and banana boats, party boats and parasailing are also on offer. If you like your thrills and spills and aren’t really one for relaxing on the beach then Ocean Mania could be perfect for you . It is a waterpark actually in the ocean, just 50 metres off San Antonio Bay.
Away from the beaches and the nightlife there are treasures to be found in San Antonio in the Caves of Can Marça. These stunning ancient caves can be found in the north of the island and are accessed by boat tours in traditional Ibiza boats made by local craftsfolk. The caves are over 1,000 years old and have awesome features such as cool rock pools, stalactites and stalagmites and even waterfalls. What a trip that would be.
No chance at all of getting bored in San Antonio!
Where to stay
So where might you stay?
Invisa Es Pla is a gorgeous adults only hotel right by San Antonio beach. Now don’t get me wrong I love kids so much and I am totally happy to be on holiday with my own but other peoples? not so much. The thought of an adult only hotel with no shouting kids and crying babies does sound rather blissful! The hotel also boasts a gym, 2 pool, basket ball courts tennis and daily entertainment.
Accommodation matters so much when you are on vacation doesn’t it? And it can make or break a trip
So yes, lots to do and see in Ibiza and a cool hotel right on the beach. Sounds pretty perfect to me!
