Lets take a look today at fun theme parks in Belgium and Denmark.
BonBon Land
BonBon-Land is a Danish amusement park and it is hugely popular. It has interesting roots and was created by Michael Spangsberg, who owned a sweetie factory – hence the name.
It can be found in Holme-Olstrup in the South of Zealand,
It is a huge 34-acre park with accommodation on site if you want to stay for a day or 2. Bonbon land prides itself on meeting the needs of the whole family and there are lots of rides for toddlers.
Personally, I love the look of Beaver Rafting which is Scandinavia’s longest rafting course.
Doll House their new ghost house looks fabulous too (though I am not sure if my kids would like it!) For thrill lovers there is also the SWEYN SWING ARM Denmark’s wildest swing which will send you up in the air 45 metres – blimey! There is even gold digging, a calm adventure I always love to try out at a theme park.

Have you heard of Bobbejaanland?
There really is something for everyone at this fun theme park which boasts over 50 attracties (attractions to you and me!)
I am so excited to bring it to your attention today – it would make super weekend break with your family
It is a very cool theme park theme park in Lichtaart in Belgium. The unusual name stems from the fact the park was founded by Bobbejaan Schoepen.
Who was Bobbejaan? Well he was a hugely famous international star in the 50’s, finding fame as a singer, guitarist, and entertainer singing mostly folk and country songs.
Western Style
Due to the country singer influences of the founder much of Bobbejaanland is styled as as a western village, with rides like the the El Rio White Water Rapids. Lots of performances take place at this theme park where las Vegas style shows top the billings.
Here is a really fun fact for you – Bobbejaan bought Zorro’s horse from the shows stuntman to perform in his theme parks shows.
The attractions at Bobbejaanland
You really would have your work cut out to get around them all! For me the ones that really stand out the most are the Big Bang water slide and the boating where you simple float through the beautiful nature filled park.
I am not much a of a thrill seeker, but there are plenty of rides for those who are!
This is Sledgehammer! Yikes.
Thrilling rides include those such as Fury, the fastest triple launch coaster in the Benelux and Typhoon, a rollercoaster where you dive 25 metres in free fall. Gulp.
I think I will stick the pony rides and the cave exploring and perhaps the Ferris wheel.
There really is a ride for every member of the family and it looks a fabulous place to visit.
