A home decorating visualisation tool
A home decorating visualisation tool
I have made so many mistakes when decorating my house in the past. Thinking I have matched the exact shade of cream blinds to my cream walls for them to just look murky and mismatched. To clash yellow walls and a mustard blind so badly it looked like a custard explosion. If only you could try before you buy!
Well now you really actually can.
Design Space is a free online tool that can unleash the creativity of would-be interior designers, whilst taking the uncertainty out of what type of blinds would look best in a room’s new colour scheme.
Design Space has been created by Apollo Blinds and it is simple to use and just so useful!
Design Space has some great features. It enables you to …
- visualise within a choice of room settings – from kitchens and modern bathrooms to traditional dining (here I chose modern kitchen)
- view venetian blinds, roller blinds, vertical blinds and pleated blinds in a range of colours and patterns (I chose grey duette blinds here)
- decide which window blinds and colour combinations work before making a purchase
Such a useful A home decorating visualisation tool!
Below is the same image again and the the same blinds but I have played around with the colours on the walls and the accessories.
What a great visualisation tool!
Favourites can be stored by using the ‘add to favourites tab’. These can then be requested as samples and downloaded as PDFs to take into store or to give to an Apollo Blinds design consultant.
With Design Space I feel I am able to be my own interior designer and I feel confident I can avoid decorating disasters from now on.
