We are at the stage now, with our house, that we are ready to start to invest in some key pieces to really help it become a place of character and beauty rather than just a pleasant and functional space.
This week I have been introduced to PIB and I have to say I am absolutely inspired by the interesting furniture it has to offer. Let me show you some of my favourite key pieces as I consider how they would work in our home.
The Lounge – PIB – vintage style for your home
The Calaba coffee table is entirely made of aluminium and is perfectly practical as well as beautifully stylish. It would look so smart in my lounge and would be well used I am sure. The surface of the metallic table is hammered and has small, irregular lines that have been applied by hand which make it look well loved. It is f 90 cm across and would make a big impact.
The Kitchen
This Masai table is just stunning the top entirely made of old varnished teak and ir rests upon a sturdy metal base which has a light texture It is a combination of industrial design and natural elegance. It is 150 cm long and relatively thin table and would seat .
If I had more room in my workspace I would even consider using this as a desk.
Isn’t it rather gorgeous?
The Conservatory – PIB – vintage style for your home
Our conservatory is our guitar playing and reading room mainly so we need a chair that packs a punch it is fairly small and has no sides but is still very comfortable.
I have found this mustard Lear chair at PIB and it has totally won my heart. It’s going straight on my birthday wish list!
The Hallway – PIB – vintage style for your home
Oh our hallway is very nondescript and as it is the first room of the house I would love it to make a better impression. This Narod Console table would certainly do that.
It is made out of solid pink wood which contrasts beautifully with the white drawers. Isn’t it smart but so simple too. It has a lovely vintage Scandinavian look and it would certainly elevate our hallway.
I am a little in love with PIB furniture can you tell? They also sell accessories, TV cabinets, chairs and so on. Do have a browse on their online store.
I really could be here all day showing you my favourite pieces!
Some lovely choices. I’m in love with that coffee table. And the colour of that chair!
I’ll take a look at this thanks lovely. Always good to find new sources of great pieces
That coffee table is amazing! Thanks for the introduction — I’m not familiar with Pib so going to have a nosey on their site now š xx
