Who’s Gonna Cause A Rumble In The Jungle This Year?!

Today – Who’s Gonna Cause A Rumble In The Jungle This Year?!

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is one of the most popular TV shows here in the UK, and for many fans it is one of the best elements in the run up to Christmas, lightening up the increasingly darkened Autumn evenings. If you aren’t already familiar with the show, it revolves around a randomly selected group of celebrities who are thrown in together and challenged to survive in the Aussie jungle for several weeks. The celebs compete against one another to be crowned the King or the Queen of the jungle, partaking in a crazy array of wacky, and often gruesome, challenges. Despite the controversy around them, the bushtucker trials are set to return to our television screens this year as a traditional, and largely popular, part of the show. These trials involve the celebrities being challenged to chomp down on purposefully revolting foods (if you can call them that…), such as fish eyes, pig testicles, silkworms and even one year, live spiders. Fans of the show are well aware of what lies before these celebs, and some clever bingo sites have even created bingo cards which let viewers play along with the show at home competing with their family and friends as they tick off the likely hilarious scenarios.

In past !years we have seen an exciting selection of celebrities enter into the jungle, including singer Stacy Soloman, TV personality Mark Wright, and media personality and businesswoman, Katie Price. Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner is an American television personality and a retired Olympic medalist. She is perhaps most famous for her appearances on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians, alongside ex-wife Kris Jenner and their daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and step daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

Myles Stephenson

The 28-year-old singer from Watford rose to fame back in 2017 when he auditioned for the X factor as part of the R’n’B boyband, Rak-Su. The group was mentored by Simon Cowell, and they performed original music throughout the competition.

Predicted favourites to win the series?

Despite admitting that he hates snakes, rodents and creepy crawlies, Ian Wright is being tipped to win this year’s series of I’m A Celeb. Bookmaker William Hill has listed the former striker with 2/1 odds of becoming the 2019 King of the Jungle.

Roman Kemp is the second favourite to win, with odds of 9/2 and James Haskell third with odds of 5/1.

Most controversial contestant?

Caitlyn Jenner is quite a controversial character. Much like marmite, you either love her or you hate her. Already she is causing quite a bit of controversy, before the series has even begun, by having already been on the short-lived US version of the show back in 2003. Many I’m A Celeb fans have criticized the decision of producers to cast Caitlyn Jenner on the show on this basis, arguing that it is gives her an unfair advantage over other contestants. The media star has also commented that she finds dealing with other people by far more difficult than dealing with “the most poisonous snakes in the world”, so some super juicy viewing can probably be expected!

With the reunion of much loved, and sorely missed, presenters Ant and Dec, and a brilliant line-up of new celebrity contestants, this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is not one to be missed. We can’t wait for cozy evenings in, cringing over celebrity arguments and squirming over insect eating challenges…and we’re sure you can’t wait either!
