Beautiful Things by Fritha Strickland

Fritha Strickland is a lifestyle blogger behind TigerLily Quinn. She lives in Bristol with her bearded boyfriend, toddler son and two fat cats. She also runs an online shop in an attempt to curb her washi tape addiction.

I only know Fritha very slightly and I think of her as very stylish woman so am very keen to hear about her beautiful things.

The most beautiful day I ever had …… was the evening I gave birth to my son in the living room of our home. Leaning against my boyfriend and holding my minute old baby in my arms and realising I had everything I had ever wanted.

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen … It’s going to be my son again! Is there a parent who doesn’t think their children are the most beautiful things on this planet? πŸ˜‰

The most beautiful thing I have ever owned … I’m massively fickle when it comes to beautiful things, if you asked me yesterday it may have been a vintage dress if you asked me last year it would have probably been my macbook (I do think they are very beautiful!) today it would probably be the dandelion my son picked for me. Tomorrow it might be something new!

The most beautiful song I have ever heard ….. I love ‘White Winter Hymnal’ by Fleet Foxes but I’m not sure I could pin point any song as being the most beautiful, anything my Emy the Great is lovely and the song ‘We Almost Had a Baby’ makes me cry every time.

The most beautiful person I know is….. My son. I am blown away by his beautiful and innocent soul many many times a day

The most beautiful thing about me is…… I would hope it would be an ability to see good in most people. Also kindness.

Thank you Fritha Strickland ! Lovely to find out more about you.

Isn’t it interesting that we can surround ourselves with beautiful things but our children will always be the focus of our lives and quite rightly are the most treasured.
    He’s a little sweetie.
