Pretzel Christmas Trees – a simple and delicious Christmas bake
Ingredients for Pretzel Christmas Trees
16 oz package of pretzel sticks
12 oz package of Wilton bright white candy melts
Wilton star sprinkles
Wilton multi-coloured sprinkles
1-2 small sandwich baggies
Wax or parchment paper
Directions for Pretzel Christmas Trees
Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
Pour the candy melts into a microwave-safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until melted. Remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes.
Line several pretzels up on the baking sheet a few inches a part.
Scoop the melted chocolate into a sandwich baggy. Snip a corner and gently squeeze the chocolate from the sandwich baggy onto the middle top party of the pretzel going back and forth and make a ‘tree’.
Place a star on top of the tree and add multi-coloured sprinkles. – arent these just so very cute! I love how sweet they look ( nop pun intended there sorry!)
Repeat this process until you have your desired amount of pretzel Christmas trees.
Gift idea – Pretzel Christmas Trees
These would make such a sweet gift place in a little cellophane bag and tied with some Christmas ribbon. The perfect teacher gift for your child to make themselves with a little practice too. Do let me know if you have a go making these and how they turned out for you.
I really do wonder actually is there anything nicer than handmaking your Christmas gifts..and how much fun would your kids having getting involved in making these too. It’s what Christmas is all about
